Programming Chair
Kenneth Webb, a native of Chicago, Illinois, is a proud product of both the Chicago Public School System and the Hale County, Alabama School System. After graduating from Akron High School, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, French, and Physical Science from the University of West Alabama. He subsequently completed two master’s degrees from the same institution—one in Mathematics Education and a second in Educational Administration. In addition, Brother Webb conducted and published research in Knot Theory under the mentorship of Dr. Scott Carter at the University of South Alabama.
Brother Webb is a Certified Curriculum Consultant with the Leadership and Learning Center in Denver, Colorado, and currently serves as an Educational Leadership and Instructional Consultant with Bailey Education Group, LLC, where his work focuses on improving outcomes and opportunities for all students.
A recently retired educator with more than 32.5 years of service, Brother Webb began his career as a Mathematics (grades 7–12) and Choral Music teacher. Throughout his career, he taught Physics, French I and II, College Algebra, Calculus, and mathematics courses for educators at the collegiate level. His leadership roles included Instructional Coach, Graduation Coach/Assistant Principal, and Secondary Curriculum Specialist, with responsibilities supporting online schools and specialized treatment centers.
Brother Webb has been an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. for 35 years. Within the Delta Phi Lambda Chapter, he has served in multiple leadership roles, including Chapter Secretary, Chapter President, and currently Treasurer, and he serves on the Delta Phi Lambda Education Foundation. At the district level, he serves on the District of Alabama Board of Directors as Past Alabama District Recording Secretary and as Area Five Director and Chief Dean. He also serves as Chairman of the fraternity’s Adopt-A-School Program partnership with the Tuscaloosa Chamber of Commerce and Oakdale Elementary School and is the past President of the NPHC of Tuscaloosa–West Alabama.
In addition to his professional and fraternal leadership, Brother Webb is an ordained Deacon and Director of Music at Greater New Destiny Baptist Church in Greensboro, Alabama. He serves as Musical Director at the local district level and as a Reviewer and Editor of the Christian Guide for church leaders at the state level. Nationally, he serves the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. as Financial Officer and Faith-Based Initiatives Liaison for the Music and Worship Arts Auxiliary.
