Area 2 Coordinator
Keya Young is a seasoned financial services leader, nonprofit executive, and community advocate with more than a decade of experience spanning branch management, organizational leadership, revenue growth, and inclusive strategy. She currently serves as a Senior Branch Manager and Mortgage Loan Officer at PNC Bank, where she leads all aspects of branch performance and delivers consultative financial solutions that support long-term client well-being.
In addition to her operational leadership, Keya is widely recognized for her expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion. She serves as the Diversity and Inclusion Champion for Northern Indiana, where she has led the design and implementation of high-impact initiatives.
Previously, Keya served as President of the South Bend National Pan-Hellenic Council from 2020 to 2025, where she led a period of transformational growth. During her tenure, she developed and executed strategic plans, established standardized operating procedures and fiscal policies, restructured governance and committee operations, strengthened community partnerships, and collaborated with financial leadership to increase the council’s annual operating budget. Her leadership positioned the council as a more sustainable, visible, and impactful organization within the South Bend community.
Keya is also a longstanding leader within Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated South Bend Chapter, where she has served in multiple elected and appointed roles, including Treasurer, Centennial Committee Chair, Rhoer Advisor, Charter Rhosebud Advisor, NPHC Delegate, and Secretary.
Recognized as a Michiana 40 Under 40 recipient and a multi-year PNC Market All-Star, Keya Young is respected for her ability to lead with integrity, build sustainable organizations, and advance economic empowerment, financial literacy, and community collaboration throughout Northern Indiana.
Keya is a devoted wife and proud mother of three children, two of whom attend Purdue University and Ball State University, with her youngest, currently a senior in high school. When she is not serving her community, Keya enjoys crafting and spending quality time with friends and family.
Area 2 includes Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
The Area 2 Coordinator provides leadership, guidance, and direct support to NPHC councils throughout the Midwest region. They ensure that councils remain active, compliant, and aligned with national programs while offering training, communication support, and resources to strengthen local impact.
Serving as the primary liaison between national leadership and councils in Area 2, the Coordinator promotes collaboration, enhances council operations, and helps advance NPHC’s mission of unity, service, scholarship, and community empowerment across the Midwest.
