Kimberly Warren – Green

Kimberly Warren-Green is a native North Carolinian from a small town outside of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and currently maintains dual residence in Puyallup, Washington, and Greenbelt, Maryland. She attended Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she studied Political Science, and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

A Registered Nurse by training, Soror Warren-Green is employed as a Certified Senior Epic Clinical Applications Analyst within the Nurse Informatics Department at UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center. In this role, she ensures hospitalist compliance with Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) standards and supports clinical optimization across inpatient environments. Her Epic career began at Duke University Medical Center, where she served as a Credentialed Trainer for the Beacon (Oncology) module. In 2013, she was recruited by Catholic Health Initiatives in Tacoma, Washington, where she played a critical role in implementing Inpatient Procedural Orders for hospitalists across multiple healthcare systems in Washington State, Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, Bismarck, North Dakota, and Portland, Oregon. Epic is the leading electronic medical records platform in the United States and internationally, including Dubai and London.

Kimberly has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to education and community engagement. She served three years as President and Vice President of the PTSA at Henry Foss High School in Tacoma, Washington. In partnership with The Tacoma (WA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, she established a Community Care Closet at Foss High School, providing underserved students and their families with access to clothing and food in a private, dignified setting. For her service and leadership, she received the Tru Ament Servant Leadership Award from the Henry Foss High School administration in 2016, 2017, and 2018, an honor presented annually to one parent, one student, and one staff member. In 2013, she was also named Outstanding Female Coach of the Year for coaching youth boys’ recreational basketball.

As a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Soror Warren-Green has served in numerous leadership roles at the local, regional, and national levels. Her service includes First Vice President, Risk Management Chair, and Sergeant-at-Arms, for the Seattle Alumnae Chapter. Nominating Chair, Co-Chair of the Scholarship Committee, Parliamentarian, Policies and Procedures Chair, Protocol and Traditions Chair, and Social Action Committee member while a member with the Tacoma Alumnae Chapter. She has also served as Secretary for the NPHC of Tacoma. In 2022 Soror Warren-Green was elected as Farwest Regional Nominating Committee member and now continues to serve as Protocol Representative, Delta Internal Development Trainer, Certified Risk Management Trainer and Collegiate Advisor for the Farwest Region.

Soror Warren-Green is a member of the Tacoma (WA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, where she has served as Corresponding Secretary, Financial Secretary, Strategic Planning Chair, and Co-Chair of the Services to Youth facet. Her community involvement also includes serving as a volunteer and chaperone for the Black & Brown Summit and YELL Summit at Highline College, as well as serving four years as a Director on the Board of the Merle Palmer Scholarship Foundation.
