Area 6 Coordinator
Joe Monroe II earned a B.B.A. in Marketing from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio in 2015, where he also competed as a four-year scholarship basketball player, served as team captain, and helped capture four Heartland Conference championships.
After graduation, he carried forward his family’s tradition of service by joining the Texas Army National Guard. Currently stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany, he serves as the Assistant Chief of Staff (G-8) for the 56th Multi-Domain Command-Europe and oversees a multi-million dollar budget. Over the past 9 years, he has successfully managed and executed annual budgets ranging from $16M to $3B in support of the Army and the Defense Health Agency operations.
Initiated into Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in 2013 through Psi Alpha Chapter, Joe has remained a financial member in good standing since his initiation. He currently serves as Basileus of the Theta Rho International Chapter, where he continues to provide dedicated leadership in support of the fraternity’s principles and objectives.
Grounded in faith, family, service, and leadership, Joe is committed to leveraging his experience in organizational leadership, fiscal oversight, and interfraternal collaboration to help strengthen the collective impact of the NPHC and advance its mission throughout Area 6.
Area 6 includes the Bahamas, St. Thomas, St. Croix, Germany, Africa, and the Middle East.
The Area 6 Coordinator provides guidance, support, and leadership to NPHC councils located outside the continental United States. This includes councils across the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. They ensure international councils remain active, connected, and aligned with national standards while offering the resources needed to operate effectively across diverse cultural and geographic regions.
As the global liaison to national leadership, the Area 6 Coordinator strengthens international engagement, promotes collaboration across borders, and helps advance NPHC’s mission of unity, service, and worldwide community impact.
